you are quite the comedian, you know so much to judge all of that on and your inferences about me are so right. First you started with the upper class school i supposedly go to, which if you just googled the name you would have seen that it is a community college which means it doesn’t do four year degrees and it accepts literally everyone. Next statement about me, also completely false, it had nothing to do with my skin color although being white in America and seeing the white version of history has made me pretty furious with what white people have done. I feel for any other ethnicity that has been oppressed and faced discrimination but it had nothing to do with me wanting to make up for my white privilege. I was just really angry and wanted to make a statement that has been done before. I don’t know what history you got taught in the sixth grade but I don’t remember them telling us what a terrible person Christopher Columbus really was and all of the damage imperialism has done to people and their cultures.
I wasn’t trying to be clever and it definitely wasn’t saying anything unique with that but I felt like doing it so I did. People saw it and it was on the news, so it did what I wanted it to do raise awareness. My school and my city are named after this man and there is a national holiday for him. People are taught that he was this great explorer who discovered America, but those lies are woven into this nationalist story about how we had this divine right to take this country and do whatever we wanted with the people already here. The start of the lie and disgusting logic is Christopher Columbus. There are many people that would argue he actually did good things and had the right to “discover” america and begin the imperialism on the continent. I know people were talking about it, and I’m sure it made some people open their eyes about what they have been taught. It seems like you can’t and won’t comprehend how this could be meaningful. Honestly I was angry and wanting to deface something ugly and wrong and I had a lot of fun doing it. It was even on the news and I was loving every minute of it, I hope it had some kind of impact. Why do you think I was trying to help people of color with this? I never said that and I know it didn’t help anyone, I just wanted to bring awareness and conversation to the lies we’ve been taught about history. I will gladly help those people but that wasn’t what I was doing trying to do.
The last piece of irony is that you call me a fuckboy for defacing a statue and you seem so mad about it hahaha how stupid do you have to be to get this mad about something like this. If I’m full of shit then you with your leaps of “logic” and this narrative you made as if you know me, and are a huge lake of fuckboy shit somewhere in Canada. How did you manage to type this message out?
Hey kids, as we approach Halloween I just wanted you guys to be careful and say DON’T FUCK WITH SPIRITS. Don’t mess with Ouija Boards, don’t talk to no dead people, don’t fuck with demons, don’t summon shit, don’t dick around in abandoned buildings. If you are considering a thing, just think, “would a white person in a horror movie do this thing?” If the answer is yes, then don’t do the thing.
